IGC company involved in $43 billion Gorgon Project

“The Gorgon Project plans to develop the Greater Gorgon gas fields, Australia's largest-known gas resource with about 40 trillion cubic feet of gas and located between 130 kilometres and 200 kilometres off the north west coast of Western Australia,” said Robert Spadanuda, IGC Director.

The proposed three-train LNG Gorgon Project will be Australia's largest-ever resources project and will have significant economic, employment and social impacts on Western Australia and the nation.

IGC group company Perth Precast is involved in the development of critical infrastructure components, and is manufacturing precast concrete panels for the Barrow Island land bank wharf facilities which will enable barge transportation of plant and equipment for the construction of the project.

“Gorgon is a demanding project, and standards are very high. Being involved in such a prestigious and high-profile development speaks highly of the commitment of the Perth Precast team to quality in all aspects of their operations,” concluded Robert.
